Movie Review

Today I went to the movies and saw Before I Fall with one of my friends. I recently saw the commercial for this movie and I needed to see it, it sounded so good. This movie was actually based on a book by Lauren Oliver, and I highly suggest reading it, it's one of my favorite books, and if you don't like reading, just go see the movie.

This movie is about a girl, Samantha Kingston, who keeps re-living the day of her death. She's stuck re-living this day for seven days. She keeps re-living the same day until she figures out what she has to do to get out. This day happens to be her favorite day which is Valentines Day (which they call Cupid Day) and what's kinda weird is that Valentines Day is February 12th in the movie and in the book.

This movie was overall pretty good. I liked it, but as always when a book is turned into a movie, they left out some details that I thought were pretty important (I'm not going to list them because I don't want to spoil anything, but if you read the book before seeing the movie, you'd know what I'm talking about.) I would definitely watch this movie again. I really love how Samantha realized what kind of person she was and once she kept re-living the same day over and over again, she realized that she had to be nice to people and value her friendships and family. She realized that her friends were really rude to people and that she wasn't a nice person.
