A Special Gift I Received in the Past!

I have received many gifts in the past that are special to me, such as a cool toy I wanted when I was younger or concert tickets to see my favorite youtubers/bands. Those are extremely special gifts that I loved, but the most special gift that I have ever gotten was my dog Blossom. I got Blossom on Christmas Morning two years ago. She was about eight weeks old. She was on one of our couches with a bow on her back. I was so happy because I have always wanted a fuzzy white dog. I am so grateful that I got her two years ago because she is such a good dog, super crazy, and she makes me laugh a lot.

My Name!

My name is Emilia, (my nickname is Mia.) Sometimes I wonder what my name actually meant, but I never actually looked it up online until a couple days ago. My name means "rival." My parents definitely didn't choose my name because it meant rival, I think they chose the name Emilia because they liked the name a lot. My Dad had the idea to call me Mia when I was born. I also found out the other day Mia means "wished for child." Mia coincides with the Italian word "Mine." If I wasn't named Emilia, my parents were going to name me Lilly. My middle name is Rose. My middle name is Rose because it's just been passed down on my mom's side of the family. My grandma's middle name is Rose, and two of my aunt's middle names are Rose. The name Rose means "kind."

If I Had to Work at a School

If I worked at a school I would probably be a middle school English/Language Arts teacher. I would be a English/Language Arts teacher because I love reading and writing. Reading and writing helps me escape from reality.  I would enjoy being an English/Language Arts teacher because I would help students find books that they would never be able to put down. My classroom would be filled with all of my favorite books, and books that I know everyone will enjoy. Also, I would enjoy reading all of my student's writing. I have always imagined being some type of teacher because I love helping people. If I were a teacher I would help students that are struggling to learn, and create new ways that make kids want to learn. I imagine teaching seventh or eighth grade because seventh and eighth graders have very interesting thoughts, and always have new ideas, which would make very interesting writing topics.

My Gratitude List

I'm sitting in room 205, at my table next to Judy, as everyone is working on their blog posts. I read my gratitude list and think. Woah, I have so much to be thankful for. 1. I am thankful for my parents , they always support me, they're always there for me, and they always care for me. 2. I am thankful for my brother , even though most times he is very annoying, he is funny, and I know he cares about me. 3. I am thankful for my house , during any type of weather I am glad to have a nice home to keep me safe. 4. I am thankful for my  friends , because they are always there for me. I couldn't imagine life without all of my friends. They are some of the nicest and funniest people I know. I love seeing them at school everyday and hanging out with them in my free time. They always make my day at school better. 5. I am thankful for books , each book tells a different story. I love books because books help me escape from reality. 6. I am thankful for family , not only

Food, Glorious Food!

My favorite restaurant is Sweet Tomatoes. Sadly, it recently closed. I loved going there because their salad bar was so amazing. The salad bar was a really long table with every delicious salad ingredient you could imagine. Crispy lettuce and delicious vegetables! Also I loved their ice cream/soft serve machine. I remember whenever I went there I would get a little mini ice cream cone. The soft serve machine was either chocolate, vanilla, or swirl. Whenever I went there we would always go with my cousins or with my grandma. My family all loved the bread with our salad, especially the corn bread. I wish it was still open, because it was the only restaurant that actually had a good salad bar.

My Favorite Person From My Childhood

I had a lot of favorite people from when little. Such as very good friends from preschool, kindergarten, and my family. But my most favorite person was my Aunt Lisa. My younger brother and I called her Titi Lisa. I wanted to be by her all the time. I saw her as the coolest person ever. A couple times for Halloween when I was little I made her dress up like me. When I was in kindergarten I was going to be a Witch for Halloween, and I made her dress up as a Witch too. Also, in first grade, I dressed up as Cinderella for Halloween. Once again, I made her dress up as Cinderella too. She got me a very very sparkly dress from Walt Disney World (Which we got while she came with my family to Disney World because I begged my parents to bring her with.) When we went to Disney World I wanted to go on all the rides with her and I followed her every where. I remember she got me a charm bracelet (which I still have) and I got to pick out lots of charms with characters on them. My favorite thing I di

My Favorite Vacation I Have Gone On

Image
I have gone on many vacations and road trips in my life. But by far, my most favorite vacation I ever went on was when I went to Mexico. I was in third grade. We went over the summer, with my cousins. It was amazing. The weather was so perfect. It was always a bright, sunny day, and there was barely any clouds in the sky! The resort was also amazing. It had so many pools, attractions, and a beach! (Here's a picture!) One day, we left the resort, and went to a park called Xel Ha. It was so fun. My family all went on a bridge trail, that was in the trees! I remember it being scary, because we were so high up, but it was still very fun! Also we went swimming in a river (there was rafts and you could ride along the river), and my cousins and my brother put on a life vest and did cliff diving! We went to a photo station and a worker there let us hold a Macaw for a picture! I remember seeing so many iguanas, and other wild animals that I have never even seen before!  In Mexi

My Life Quotes

Image
Hello! These are my three life quotes that explain me very well! I picked the quote "Spread Happiness" -Colleen Ballinger/Evans because, there is lots of hate in the world, and everyone needs to share their happiness, and spread more happiness! This really describes me because it feels so amazing to make people's day better, and make them smile and laugh. I also picked the quote "She turned her can'ts into cans and her dreams into plans" because, I am a very determined person. I put lots of effort into all my school projects/school work, and I am determined to do the best that I possibly can. For my last quote, I picked "Winners don't always win... They just don't give up." This describes me very well because I play softball, and whenever I have a game/practice I try my absolute best to do everything almost perfect. Also I never give up, and cheer for my teammates.
